FAQ
How do you photograph portraits?
I start by determining what you want to get out of the session. Then I create a plan of locations and pose ideas to help the session go smoothly. No worries if don't like taking photos, I will help you feel natural and comfortable in front of the camera!
What should I bring for a grad session?
You should bring your cap and gown, school ring and any props you want! These props could be a nursing stethoscope, bottle of champagne, sorority stole etc.!
What happens if it is raining?
If it is raining on your session date, I have additional days that we can reschedule your session to. If these dates don't work for you, I will give you your deposit back and recommend other photographers for you to reach out to!
How many pictures will we receive?
The amount of photos depends on what package you choose! I always choose quality rather than quantity and I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum of 8 business days (usually less but it depends on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them and choose your favorites!
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in South Carolina and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to come because I love meeting new people while traveling to new places!
If I cancel my session what happens?
If you have to cancel your session, no worries! If you paid a deposit, I will keep that deposit. If we have to cancel due to weather, you will receive your deposit back.
How long do logo designs take?
Depending on the complexity of the design and my schedule, I should have the first draft of the logo to you for review in 2-4 business days.
How long are the photos available in my online gallery?
Due to storage capacity on my online gallery website, photos will be available for 6 months! I will send you a reminder message before the photos are removed.
How do you backup photos?
I have a dual-slot camera that allows me to take photos with two different camera cards in case one gets messed up! After a session, I copy raw images to an external hard drive and upload them into Lightroom. I never delete photos from a card until a gallery has been delivered.
How do you use photos?
I will include photos from galleries in my portfolio! If you would prefer that I do not include your photos on my website or Instagram, just ask! These are your special moments, and I will never share anything you do not want me to.
